General

Booklera is a SaaS platform for trade businesses. You manage construction jobs, quotes, invoices and the complete site documentation in one place — and you get your own website under your domain on top. No programming skills needed.

For all trades: roofers, electricians, painters, plumbing and heating engineers, carpenters, bricklayers, tilers, landscapers and more. Whether you're a solo tradesperson or a business with several journeymen.

In about 5 minutes. You go through our signup wizard, enter your business name, choose a subdomain and your plan — done. Your website is live straight away at your-business.booklera.de.

No. Everything runs through a simple dashboard: writing quotes, managing construction jobs, creating invoices — all with a click. No installation, no code, no server know-how needed.

Pricing and subscription

There are three plans: Basic (39 euros/month), Pro (99 euros/month) and Business (199 euros/month). All plans start with a 30-day free trial. No credit card needed to try it out. In addition, a 1.5% transaction fee applies to online payments via Stripe.

Subdomain (your-business.booklera.de), construction job and quote management, invoices with e-invoicing (XRechnung + ZUGFeRD, mandatory from 2025), service catalogue, contact form on your website, design editor, AI assistant in the admin (20 requests/month), up to 2 team members.

Everything in Basic plus: your own domain with SSL, full site documentation (legally sound under GoBD and VOB/B), AI tools (quotes and on-site measurement by voice, receipt scan, site-doc autopilot), POS (card terminal), email system (IMAP + sending), DATEV export, 1 master craftsman + 4 journeymen, AI assistant (200 requests/month).

Everything in Pro plus: 2 master craftsman/boss roles and a team of up to 15, a customer portal with digital handover, AI invoice scanner (capture delivery notes/invoices by photo), unlimited AI requests, white label (no „Powered by Booklera“), priority support.

You choose a plan and pay by credit card (Stripe). Without payment your account is paused, but not deleted. Your data is preserved and you can reactivate any time.

Yes, anytime. Under Settings > Subscription you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel. If you cancel, your account stays active until the end of the billing period.

Features

You create a quote from your service catalogue, add line items with quantities and prices, and Booklera calculates automatically. You send the finished quote as a PDF or e-invoice. Your customer can accept it online — and with one click it turns into a construction job.

You manage construction jobs centrally, from the accepted quote through the site work to the final invoice — with status, appointments, team assignment, material and site documentation. Every job is automatically assigned a sequential job number.

Site documentation records every construction job in a legally sound way: time-stamped photos, a site logbook, defects and handovers — compliant with GoBD and VOB/B. That way you always have seamless proof in case of disputes or warranty claims. Available from the Pro plan.

With on-site measurement you capture rooms, areas and quantities directly on site — by voice if you like: you speak the measurements and the AI enters them. The measurement flows straight into your quote. Available from the Pro plan.

Booklera creates invoices that are GoBD-compliant under §14 UStG — including e-invoices in the XRechnung and ZUGFeRD formats, which have been mandatory in B2B business since 2025. Send by email straight from the dashboard, with export to DATEV from the Pro plan.

Yes. The scheduling board shows all appointments, construction jobs and your team at a glance. You plan who is on which site and when, and keep an eye on deadlines.

The AI assistant helps you operate the admin panel and powers the AI tools: quotes and on-site measurement by voice, receipt scan and site documentation. It runs entirely locally on our server (no OpenAI/ChatGPT — your data never leaves Booklera). Basic: 20 requests/month, Pro: 200/month, Business: unlimited.

With the POS you take payment right on site via a card terminal — debit card, credit card or contactless, for example for small materials or an immediate repair. Receipt by email and automatic booking included. Available from the Pro plan.

Take a photo of a delivery note or upload a PDF invoice — the AI automatically recognizes supplier, amount, invoice number, date and material and books the expense. Everything runs locally on our server, no cloud. Exclusive to the Business plan.

Your journeymen record their working hours per construction job — using the time clock in the dashboard. That way you know exactly how many hours were spent on which site, and the times feed into the post-costing. Available from the Pro plan.

Booklera knows trade roles: master craftsman/boss (full access), foreman (construction jobs, quotes, service catalogue, costing) and journeyman/apprentice (read construction jobs, time tracking, chat, AI tools). Limits: Basic 2 members, Pro 5, Business up to 30.

Costing and material

You set your hourly rates, material costs and markups — Booklera calculates every quote line item automatically. That way you cost properly with a contribution margin instead of going by gut feeling.

In the service catalogue you set up your recurring services with prices (e.g. „laying roof tiles per m²“). When creating a quote you just pick them — no double typing, consistent prices.

Yes. You maintain your material with purchase and sale prices, add it to quotes and construction jobs, and keep an eye on the material usage per job.

Website and design

In the design editor under Settings. You choose from several templates, adjust colours and fonts, upload your logo, showcase your business and your references, and edit all the text — all with a live preview.

Yes, from the Pro plan. You connect your domain in the settings, set two DNS records with your provider (an A record + verification), and we set up SSL automatically. On the Basic plan you get a subdomain (your-business.booklera.de).

Yes. On your website you have a contact form — prospects send you their enquiry directly, and it lands as a lead in your dashboard. From the Business plan there is also a customer portal with digital handover.

Yes. We offer a professional design service — from a quick setup to fully custom development of your website. Prices from 149 euros. Contact us at info@booklera.de for a quote.

Payments

Through Stripe Connect. Your customers pay by credit card or card on site, the money goes straight to your Stripe account and from there to your bank account. No intermediary account, no detour. We only charge a 1.5% transaction fee. A classic invoice by bank transfer is also possible.

For online and card payments, yes. Stripe is free and set up in a few minutes. You connect it during signup or later under Settings. You can also issue invoices the classic way by bank transfer — you don't need Stripe for that.

Stripe charges around 1.5% + 0.25 euros per card payment (EU cards). On top of that comes our 1.5% platform fee. With a classic invoice by bank transfer, no transaction fees apply.

Security and privacy

Yes. Our servers are located in Germany. We offer an audit log, data export, customer anonymization and a data processing agreement on request. No data goes abroad — except via Stripe for payment processing.

Yes. Under Settings you can cancel your account. Under GDPR > Offboarding you can request a complete data export. After 30 days all data is permanently deleted.

Yes. Every business is completely isolated by row-level security in the database. No business can ever access another's data. All connections are SSL-encrypted.
